The carbon dioxide pressure reducer is a device commonly used to regulate the pressure of bottled gas. Its main function is to ensure that the outlet pressure remains stable even when there are changes in the inlet pressure and outlet flow. It is important to pay attention to the reading of the low pressure gauge as an increase in this reading may indicate potential hazards and hidden dangers. It is crucial to maintain the stability of the outlet pressure to prevent any risks associated with the use of bottled gas.

Role and Classification
When using gas welding, gas cutting, or other gas-based applications, the pressure required is often much lower than the high pressure contained in the gas cylinder. To solve this problem, a pressure reducer is necessary. This device regulates the high pressure gas stored in the cylinder and reduces it to low pressure gas, thus ensuring a stable, consistent output pressure and flow. The pressure reducer functions as a control mechanism that helps maintain the desired working pressure throughout the process. This way, high pressure gas is no longer a concern and users can safely and efficiently complete their tasks with ease.
When it comes to carbon dioxide pressure reducers, there are a few different types to consider. First, there are centralized and post types. Additionally, they can be classified as single-stage or double-stage, depending on their structure. Lastly, there are two types of working principles: positive action and reaction.
In terms of domestic pressure reducers in China, the most common include single-stage reaction type and two-stage mixed type. The two-stage mixed type features a positive action type in the first stage and a reaction type in the second stage. Overall, understanding these different types can help users choose the best option for their specific needs.
Principle and Structure
The main component of the carbon dioxide pressure reducer is a brass body (HPb59-1). It consists of various parts such as a valve ejector rod, pressure regulating spring, elastic membrane device, and pressure reducing valve. The two-stage pressure reducing system is structurally similar. The primary stage reduces the high-pressure gas automatically to a medium pressure of 2MPa, which is then passed on to the secondary stage. In the secondary stage, adjusting the pressure reducing valve with the pressure adjusting screw controls the oxygen supply pressure. The pressure adjusting spring, elastic membrane device, and valve ejector rod help in adjusting the pressure reduction level or stopping the gas supply as needed.
The carbon dioxide pressure reducer has an inlet joint with a thread size of G5 / 8 "and an inner diameter of 5.5mm. The outlet joint, on the other hand, has an inner diameter of 6mm, which can accommodate a maximum flow rate of 80m3 / h. The pressure reducer also features high-pressure and low-pressure oxygen meters that show the pressure in the high-pressure gas chamber and the low-pressure gas chamber, respectively. The high-pressure oxygen meter's range is - 25MPa, while the range of the low-pressure oxygen meter is 0-v 4MPa. It is an essential tool that ensures gas pressure is regulated to meet the required level.
When qd-1 pressure reducer is used, when the adjusting screw is screwed clockwise, the pressure reducing valve can be opened, and the high-pressure oxygen will flow into the low-pressure chamber from the gap. The pressure is reduced due to the volume expansion of oxygen in the low-pressure chamber, that is, the decompression effect.
3. The thread size of the carbon dioxide pressure reducer inlet connector nut is G5 / 8 ", the inner diameter of the connector is 7mm, and the inner diameter of the outlet connector can be 5mm or 9mm according to different needs. The range of the high-pressure oxygen meter installed on the body is 0-25mpa, and the range of the low-pressure oxygen meter is 0-4mpa.
